First of all, I would like to thank those who purchased my Mother’s Day card! After the release of that card, I received many requests for a Father’s Day companion. After a few days / weeks trying to come up with a phrase & a little help from a friend
I finally settled… here is the end result. You can purchase them here on Big Cartel or here on Etsy!

You Are One Badass Mother
Since Mother’s Day is coming up, I decided to hand letter a card for my mom & make it available for purchase. I know the phrase is a little untraditional, but what can I say… my mom IS a badass & I know a few expecting mothers who also fall into the category of badassery!
Society6 Shop
Have I mentioned that I opened a Society6 shop? Yeah… I opened it back in January.
Here’s my most recent addition.
Pinterest Board Covers
I’m sure you & I can agree that Pinterest is one of the best things to happen on the web. I use it daily, wether i’m pinning or searching for inspiration, it’s a handy companion. From the beginning of my Pinterest usage, from time to time it would frustrate me looking at the various board cover images, they can become overwhelming. Recently I came up with the idea to my own covers, here’s the end result. Feel free to repin the board covers for your own use. I imagine that I would redesign cover images from time to time to ‘freshen’ things up.
You Are The Train That Crashed My Heart /// Bat For Lashes
Everything about 2012′s ‘The Haunted Man, the third release from English singer-songwriter Natasha Kahn (AKA Bat For Lashes) gorgeous. The album ended up being one of my top five favorite releases of last year. On ‘The Haunted Man‘, Kahn lets her guard down, explores lush soundscapes and throws herself into every word of the evocative moving lyrics, her vocals are softer showing someone who is deeply hurt.
To me, the track “Laura” is extremely powerful with it’s simpleness that features only a piano and delicate horns floating in the distance. I find Kahn’s voice is so powerful here & I get emotional with every listen, it’s simple the finest song she’s written. One line from the song strikes me every time… “You’re the train that crashes my heart.”
